The London Decorative Arts Company

Founded by Interior Decorator Laragh Chambers with the mission to offer clients an outstanding range of Decorative Arts services. She has brought together a collective of accomplished Artists and Decorators with a wide range of skills. The team includes Belgium trained faux marble experts, Italian marmorino specialists, an accomplished team of London based gilders trained at amongst places Campbell Smith and City and Guilds Institute, and a group of London based muralists and artists.

From gilding and mural painting to trompe l'oeil and decorative paint effects, clients who have enjoyed our personalised talents include Interior Design Companies, individual home owners and some of Europe's finest galleries.

Paint Effects
We provide a free quotation service throughout the London area for all types of paint finishes including broken colour, marbling, stoneblocking and woodgraining.

Marmorino, Intonachino and Rasatura Work
Our highly skilled team of Italian artists offer specialised polished plaster services. Marmorino finishes throughout London include Mossmans' Restaurant. Laragh oversees all works.

Gilding
Our training in the gilding art is based out of age-old expert practices, using gold and silver leaf, oil and water gilding. We work on both new designs and architectural projects. We also offer verre eglimese and enjoy using a variety of alternative metals. Our work can be seen in Goldsmiths Hall, London, The Apsley House, No.1 London, Ceilings by the late Robert Adam & The Institute of Directors, Pall Mall.

Painting and Murals

Furniture
We offer clients furniture tailored to their own particular requirements and environment. From hand painted cabinets, textured mirrors to hand painted fabric lined sofas.

Laragh Chambers, GCGI, Director

Laragh has over 10 years experience in Interior Design, Building, Decorating, Specialist Painting and Gilding. Her work has shown at Phillips Auctioneers, The Shad Thames Gallery, The Royal Academy. She holds a 4 year Decorative Design Degree from the City of Guilds of London Art School. Site works include The Merchant Tailors Hall, Threadneedle Street, Donna Il Piacere, Westbourne Grove and many other private residences in Moscow, London, Italy and France. Her team work world wide.
